Advanced Email Alert Notifications in Primavera P6 EPPM

P6 EPPM Email Alert Notifications Functionality

I am die hard Primavera fond, working on this application from last 13 years, but unfortunately, I have to accepts it that email alert notifications functionality in P6 EPPM is very much limited compared what business is expecting from Primavera. I have implemented Primavera in various domains in the last 13 years and almost in every implementation getting this feedback from business.

Every business has its own requirements of custom alert notifications based on specific needs. Presently, the standard functionalities of P6 EPPM are unable to fulfil all the custom business needs in terms of automatic email alerts notifications.

Some common requirements from business are as follows

     – Whenever project budget gets overshot
    – Reminders and follow-ups before starting of any major activity
    – At the completion of major activity/Milestone
    – At completion cost forecast getting more than the planned cost
    – Critical activity get delayed
    – Activity crosses the predefined threshold
    – When the payment milestone gets delayed

From the learning of previous implementations, we have developed the solution of this P6 EPPM limitations

With the help of the experienced team, we have developed the various sets of custom email alert notifications which help businesses to establish their own early warning system of automatic email alert notifications based on they own specified business needs.

As I have already told you, every business has its own different needs of custom automatic email alerts and we are now capable of developed and configured any type of custom email alert notifications with the help of Java-based coding.

These notifications can be designed as an HTML table and colour codes to the activities can be configured as per business requirement.
